The son of my friend wants to rent an apartment off campus with a friend. You go to university in a small rural community with a reasonable rent. He has learned (and familiar with the area believe it's true) that the off-campus housing, including adequate food, is actually better than life on campus. My question is: How do you think is not desirable, not for private (pay-federal) loans to off-campus housing. He has a scholarship that paid for all of your tuition fees, and if really pay for everything you need for the accommodation. He works in the school during the summer. It is not enough to pay the rent with the rest of the year, especially with summer classes, he is about it.
